Individual Therapy

My Approach

Individual therapy with me is relational, unhurried, and grounded in genuine curiosity about your experience. I'm active and engaged in sessions — not a silent presence — and I pay close attention to what feels useful and what doesn't. We check in regularly, and you're always in charge of the direction of the work.

Sessions tend to move between the present and the past — not to excavate history for its own sake, but because understanding how your patterns developed often changes your relationship to them in the present. We might explore a recent conversation that left you unsettled, a relationship dynamic that keeps recurring, or an emotional response that surprised you. Over time, the work builds — each session informed by what came before.

What Individual Therapy Can Help With

Anxiety that feels chronic, familiar, or hard to trace to a clear source. Grief, loss, or life transitions that have been harder to move through than expected. The effects of past experiences — including trauma — that still feel active in the present. Relationship patterns that repeat despite genuine effort and self-awareness. Struggles with self-worth, self-trust, or a persistent sense of not quite belonging. A general sense that something is off, even when life looks fine from the outside.
